Our Products

What types of natural stone do you offer?+

We offer a comprehensive range of natural stones including premium granites (such as Black Galaxy, Absolute Black, Tan Brown, and many more), marble varieties (Baswada Marble, Carrara variants), quartz, monuments and memorials, landscaping stones, cobblestones, cubes, kerbstones, and other Indian natural stones. Each product is available in various finishes including polished, honed, flamed, and bush-hammered.

What are the benefits of using granite?+

Granite offers exceptional durability, being one of the hardest natural stones available. It is highly resistant to heat, scratches, and stains. Granite comes in a stunning variety of colors, patterns, and textures, making it perfect for countertops, flooring, wall cladding, monuments, and outdoor applications. With proper care, granite can last for centuries.

What is the difference between granite and marble?+

Granite is an igneous rock formed from cooled magma, making it extremely hard and durable. Marble is a metamorphic rock, softer and more porous. Granite has a granular appearance with speckled patterns, while marble features elegant veining. Granite requires less maintenance and is more resistant to scratches and stains, making it ideal for high-traffic areas and kitchens. Marble is preferred for its luxurious aesthetic in bathrooms, lobbies, and decorative applications.

Can granite be used outdoors?+

Yes, granite is an excellent choice for outdoor applications. It is naturally resistant to weathering, UV rays, frost, and temperature changes. Popular outdoor uses include paving, landscaping, garden features, exterior wall cladding, pool surrounds, and outdoor kitchen countertops. We recommend specific grades and finishes suited for outdoor use to ensure optimal performance.

What granite finishes are available?+

We offer multiple finish options to suit different design requirements: Polished (mirror-like, high-gloss finish), Honed (smooth matte finish), Flamed (rough textured finish for anti-slip), Bush-Hammered (dimpled rough texture), Leather/Lepatora (soft matte with a gentle texture), Sandblasted (fine gritty texture), and custom finishes on request. Each finish alters the stone's appearance and grip characteristics.

Do you offer custom sizes and shapes?+

Absolutely. We specialize in custom fabrication to meet your exact project specifications. Whether you need specific slab dimensions, custom-cut tiles, bespoke monument designs, or uniquely shaped countertops, our skilled craftsmen can deliver. Please share your drawings or specifications with us and we will provide a detailed quote.

Ordering Process

How do I place an order?+

You can place an order by contacting us through our website's contact form, email (info@deccanstonecraft.com), phone, or WhatsApp. Share your product requirements including stone type, finish, dimensions, and quantity. Our team will provide a detailed quotation. Once approved, we'll confirm the order and begin production after receiving the agreed-upon advance payment.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+

Minimum order quantities vary by product type. For slabs, the typical MOQ is one container load (approximately 20-25 tons for a 20ft container). For tiles and cubes, MOQs can be lower depending on the specific product. For monuments and custom orders, we can accommodate smaller quantities. Contact us for specific MOQ details for your desired products.

Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?+

Yes, we encourage sampling before bulk orders. We can send physical stone samples (typically 10x10cm or 15x15cm) to your location. Sample shipping costs may apply depending on your location and the number of samples requested. We also provide high-resolution photographs and videos of our current stock for your review.

What payment methods do you accept?+

We accept bank wire transfers (T/T), Letters of Credit (L/C), and other internationally recognized payment methods. Typically, we require a 30-50% advance payment upon order confirmation and the balance before shipment or against a Letter of Credit. Specific payment terms are discussed and agreed upon during the quotation process.

How long does it take to fulfill an order?+

Production time typically ranges from 15 to 30 days depending on the order size, stone type, and customization requirements. Standard-size slabs and tiles with readily available materials can be processed faster. Custom orders, special finishes, or rare stone selections may take longer. We provide a detailed production timeline with every quotation.

Shipping & Export

How is the granite shipped internationally?+

We ship via sea freight using 20ft and 40ft containers from major Indian ports (primarily Krishnapatnam, Chennai, and Mundra). Granite is carefully loaded using wooden cradles for slabs or palletized for tiles and cubes. We can ship FOB (Free On Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight), or CFR (Cost & Freight) depending on your preference.

How do you ensure safe packaging and delivery?+

We take great care in packaging to prevent any damage during transit. Slabs are bundled in strong wooden crates with foam padding between each piece. Tiles are packed in sturdy wooden crates or pallets with thermocol protection. Monuments are individually wrapped and secured. All packaging meets international shipping standards and is fumigated as required for export.

What are the typical shipping times?+

Shipping times vary by destination: Middle East (7-12 days), Europe (20-30 days), North America (25-35 days), East Asia (12-18 days), Australia (18-25 days), Africa (15-25 days). These are approximate transit times from the port of loading. Actual delivery times include customs clearance at the destination port.

Do you handle export documentation?+

Yes, we handle all export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, and any other documentation required by your country's customs authority. Our experienced export team ensures smooth and hassle-free customs clearance.

Quality Assurance

How do you ensure the quality of your granite?+

Quality is at the core of everything we do. Our process includes rigorous multi-stage inspection: quarry-level selection of raw blocks, examination for cracks and color consistency, precision cutting with calibrated machinery, quality checks at every processing stage, and a final inspection before packaging. We maintain strict international quality standards and can provide test reports on request.

Will the stone color and pattern match the sample exactly?+

Natural stone is a product of nature, and slight variations in color, pattern, and veining are inherent characteristics that make each piece unique. While we strive to match samples as closely as possible, minor natural variations should be expected. For critical projects requiring precise color matching, we recommend selecting from our current inventory and can arrange factory visits or detailed photo/video documentation.

What if I receive damaged or defective products?+

We take every precaution to prevent damage during shipping. However, in the rare event of damage, please document it with photographs immediately upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours. We will work with our insurance provider and shipping company to resolve the issue promptly. All our shipments are insured for transit damage.

Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my granite countertop?+

Clean regularly with mild soap and warm water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, vinegar, or bleach. Wipe up spills promptly to prevent staining. Use cutting boards and trivets to protect the surface. Reseal polished granite countertops every 1-2 years (or as recommended by your installer) to maintain stain resistance.

Can granite be repaired if damaged?+

Yes, most granite damage can be repaired. Minor scratches can often be buffed out with polishing compounds. Small chips can be filled with color-matched epoxy resin. Larger cracks or breaks may require professional stone restoration services. For significant damage, individual slabs or tiles can be replaced. We recommend consulting a professional stone restoration specialist for major repairs.

Does granite require sealing?+

It depends on the granite type and its intended use. Dense granites like Absolute Black typically don't require sealing. Lighter-colored and more porous granites used for countertops benefit from periodic sealing (every 1-2 years) to prevent staining. Granite used for flooring or exterior applications usually doesn't require sealing. We can advise on sealing requirements for your specific stone selection.

How long does granite last?+

Granite is one of the most durable natural materials available. With proper care and maintenance, granite installations can last a lifetime -- hundreds of years or more. Ancient structures built with granite thousands of years ago still stand today. This exceptional longevity makes granite an excellent investment for both residential and commercial projects.

Pricing & Value

What factors affect granite pricing?+

Granite pricing depends on several factors: the rarity and origin of the stone, the processing complexity (finish type, edge profiles), slab size and thickness, order quantity, customization requirements, and current market conditions. Premium exotic granites with unique patterns command higher prices, while commonly available varieties are more economical. We provide transparent pricing with detailed breakdowns.

Do you offer competitive pricing for bulk orders?+

Yes, we offer attractive volume-based pricing. Larger orders benefit from better rates per unit area. We also offer special pricing for repeat customers and long-term supply agreements. Contact us with your requirements and we'll provide the most competitive pricing possible.

How do I get a price quote?+

Simply reach out to us via our contact page, email, phone, or WhatsApp with your requirements. Include the stone type, finish, dimensions, quantity, and destination. We typically respond with a detailed quotation within 24-48 hours. For standard products, we can provide instant pricing over a call.
